Well Infant Mortalities were High during the Ancient era, however if you managed to reach until 10, You can live upto 60 or even 90 years old if you didn't caught any deadly Diseases which you doesn't have Immunity or get killed in a Battle or got Serious Injuries.
Infact Egyptian Pharoh Ramases the Great despite lived around 1500BC still managed to live upto 90 years and his reign lasted for nearly 69 years, making him the first ruler to ever reach a Reign period of 60 years and It was only in 1713 AD, that he lost his record aganist Louis XIV.

When the life expectancy was around 30, people could live 70-80. The average was very low because half died before 20.

It was so common to die early prior to the last century. We have had medicine advance so much since the 20th century began. I am so glad to be living in the 21st century, with this much medicine and getting to live longer. No one knew about germs or vitamins in the past. Let's keep eradicating more diseases. I want to live to be 120, which is me to turn in 2112.

As bad as society seems at times, I'm grateful how advanced medicine has saved millions of lives!

Average lifespan. But we must pay attention that many people in the past died young due to infectious diseases, wars and diseases in infancy.
Therefore, average lifespan 40 in ancient or medieval times doesn't mean that 40-year-old man was greybeard.

Actually the average ages of ancient people were underestimated due to the high mortality rates of children. If they made it through adulthood most of them could live up to fifty years or more without epidemic or wars.

What these charts doesn't consider are the global economic and environmental collapse around 2030. That will lower the life expectancy significantly.

If you remove childhood and birth deaths, Hunter Years had longer life spans than we do now. At the time, we were eating a carnivore diet. When we began eating plants, about 8, 000 years ago, our lifespans were reduced and our brain size started getting smaller.

Well...in the Middle Ages, 11 and 12 centuries, the excellent Mongolian warriors used to go over 40s....killed more before they died!
Genghis Khan died ill, at 60+. Subutai died in his retirement, peacifully with his family at 73!
Great longevity for world conquerors!

Hopefully the recent study that human lifespan has hit a ceiling is not true.

This video discounted one historical possibility of a tragic WW3 scenario where nukes were used, which would reduce the lifespan of average humans globally drastically.

I hope these predictions are right. Even though I feel it's a little bit exaggerated

i almsot died young at 19 from an OD from synthetic weight loss supplements ebcause iw as desperate to be thinner. I cant believe that im still here. 25 today is like baby age and 80 is now old age unlike 25 was the maximum lifespan for most humans thousands of years ago.

0:52 - It was not islamic medicine, but Persian medicine. Islam simply captured these lands and then destroyed their science, explaining that it was not in the Koran.
