AI finds world to surpass climate warming threshold in 10-12 years

Meanwhile in climate-related news the world could surpass the critical climate warming threshold of 1.5-degrees Celsius in the next ten to twelve years.
This is according to a study published on Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences journal.
Using machine learning the study predicted that temperatures on the planet will reach this tipping point in the early 2030s.
Scientists have said that temperatures 1.5 degrees above pre-industrial levels will lead to increased cases of extreme flooding, drought, wildfires, and food shortages.
The AI model also predicted with 80-percent certainty that temperatures will increase past two-degrees before 2065.
Even if the world reaches net zero emissions in the next fifty years.
