Harbor Freight pocket hole Jig trick!

Neat little trick for pocket holes for 2x4 on end.

There is actually a bracket to mount the individual slot you used for greater stability as seen on page 7 of instructions.

Nice. Didn't know it would come off. Was debating buying one, but thought I'd need to get a small portable kreg also for just that purpose (sides of 2x4s). Now glad I don't have to.

Will be getting one today.

Did you ever try changing the drill bit?
I get often tear outs from this jig and have seen some suggest that kreg's drill bits are better for tear out. Wondering if using a different drill bit improves this jig.

Would be a perfect hack if you use HF clamp.
