Dear Warikoo,
Some points which I understood after talking to online MBA course providers like upgrad.
1. They don't respect you as they respect their regular on-campus students, you are like second grade citizen to them.
2. You can't use College resources like libraries.
3. You don't have access to their on-campus placement programmes or any kind of assistance for job or careers ( which is only reserved for on-campus students)
4. Literally they are after your money and making fool out of poor students who already cannot afford their more expensive on-campus programmes.

The problem is Indian companies don't recognize Online MBA, they want classroom one and in India From which college you did classroom MBA matters a lot. MBA as you said it is a different ball game. I also did MBA regular, The environment in classroom MBA is different. Grading is different you have to beat scores of others in order to pass in that subject, No matter how good you are if someone else is better than, you will loose. Assignments which we would do in the group have a different experience. But yes given a choice Online MBA as you explained would be better than Distance learning one

I'm pursuing an MBA degree from NMIMS and the mode is distance learning.
NMIMS has started this course from this year only and they are providing MBA degrees, not PGDM.
I'm happy that I have made a good decision for my carrier.

Warikoo videos were so nice previously, now he makes sponsored videos like this video which stresses on upgrad only when there might be many other options . Similarly he posted one for Navi Loans. It really feels bad when you create a career advice video or a financial advice video and promote a specific brand, while you could have given array of choices for users to consider. Many people might be blindly following these videos but i am sure people are mistaken on the career choices that they make seeing these sponsored career videos.

Hello sir, I have completed my Masters in CS in 2021. Now I am working as an analyst but for career growth I am thinking of doing MBA. But I am confused between choosing the online MBA or offline MBA. Will it be better to acquire 2-3 years of experience and then do the online MBA or should I start preparing for CAT exam? In today's market what is the ideal time to do MBA ?

You mentioned that the most important thing is the quality of people we hang around during our MBA sessions and afterward in life. But how are we going to ensure that we will get good peers in our course, which is online, and even if we do get good people around us, how will we hang out with them in real life if the course is completely online? Being offline on the roads with smart people has its intrinsic value. Isn't that true? Making online connections work in real life, plans to hang out and discuss things together like a start-up idea rarely happens because it takes double the effort and too much deliberation. Please let me know your thoughts on this. I am good at networking, but I want to know what will increase my credibility more, an offline MBA from a good B-school (if I get the score) or an online MBA from Upgrad?
