I just can't imagine you doing anything else except giving tutorials. You have such a gift for communicating instructions. I've watched your video on this tutorial several several times so that I can get it in my head and do it as I'm seeing you do it and it just gets simpler for me because of the way you put it out there. So thank you so much you have the sweetest and I mean the sweetest personality. You're the type of person that I would love to have for my best friend😊. God bless you on all your endeavors!!!💖. I'm a 78 yr old lady;. Didn't want you to think you had a crazy 😮 person on your hand. Ha ha

Thank you for this tutorial. I had a spare jelly roll and guess what I'm sewing this afternoon. You inspired me. I made a Trip around the world 15 years ago ( my first quilt. I didnt' know about rotary cutters & mats so i ended up cutting each 2 1/2 " square with scissors and so my first quilt was born. I so appreciated your strip set technique .

I have fabrics that I bought when my husband and I were traveling cross country from Los Angeles to Washington DC. Most of it are calico or ditsy prints that reminded me of my grandma's apronsc house dresses. Had planned to make placemats and such, but now I think I'll make a trip around the world quilt. Maybe I should call it trip around the US! 😉

Hi from the UK. I have watched surely 100 quilting jelly rolls videos and finally found first who mentioned the LENGTH of standard jelly roll strips. Everyone talks about standard jelly rolls and how many strips and width but really big thank you to you. I decided that I will keep watching, not going to internet searching. It’s nice things you are making, and I really like your way to explain what you are doing, keep watchers up to date and not assuming everyone is a pro.

Just want to say thank you for showing how to make this trip! I want to make a queen size for myself after Christmas. I am going to cut strips from my Stacy. I bet I get enough for the whole family to get their own quilts, 8. Great job! Happy THANKS GIVING!

I like the fact you are open to try new things (let's not iron a single seam and see what happens). And, encouraging us to get out of our comfort zone ... if you've never pressed to the side - try it instead of pressing the seams open.

I’m a beginner quilter, found your technique wonderful very explanatory. Very easy to understand. I don’t have the words to express how thankful I am…. It’s a life changer.😊….❤ keep them coming….. I haven’t watched this video as of yet. I’m excited to see what treasures are in this one.😅
