I love her 🖤 I actually discovered her through my love for James Dean years ago, I'd seen her mentioned before of course but never really appreciated it or looked into her till then. I believe she was ahead of her time in a few ways, many of the greats are. To me she is the Queen of ghouls and horror. I'd of loved to have seen more of her ideas put onto screen or purchased some of her artwork. Such a shame how she was treated but I'd imagine she thrived and battled on regardless judging by the fact we share a lot in common with our natal charts the determination, enthusiasm and willingness to achieve and succeed no matter how small is very present.

Vampira's version of Morticia Addams is something I wish to have gotten to see more of. I love Elvira and a few Morticia Addams (there are alot). They each bring their own decadent and fleshed out character, pun intended.

In the biography it says she dressed up as a zombie, not Morticia Adams specifically, tho the crowd at the costume contest ended up chanting "Adams Adams". Interesting discrepancy.

Do we know who stole her memorabilia from her family yet? I know there is supposed to be a book, The Vampira Diaries coming out... but it was promised in print in fall 2019 with a gofundme raising almost $21, 000..then a release in early 2021..seems like the project is having trouble. Is there any more reliable information on any of these topics? I'd like to buy Vampira merch ethically for once..meaning, in the name of (in)human decency, her FAMILY should profit. 🦇
