As someone born and raised in Germany, your videos make me feel so much better about many small things here that I somehow don't like (and always felt weird because I didn't). It's so refreshing to get your perspective! Now i feel better over still not feeling fine in cold wet weather even with all the "right clothes" and with my lifelong preference of warm meals over cold "Abendbrot" etc. :D

In South East Asia, you would be probably struck by lightning if you sit outside during rain. Our thunderstorms are no joke 😅

I love this mentality. Everyone sitting outside, enjoying their food surrounded by wasps, while I enjoy my privacy inside and get served immediately whenever I need anything.

Wind blowing away your napkins, wasps getting into your drink and food and attacking you, mosquitoes biting you, flies adding poop to your food... No thanks, I'd rather stay inside ;)

There was a teacher from Germany that taught gym class in my elementary school and he had a similar attitude. At least, until about a dozen teachers and parents (including mine) filed several complaints with the district and principal because they were tired of us constantly catching colds and missing class🤣

I will say that "no bad weather, just bad clothes" is absolutely a great thing to keep in mind.
I say this as someone who swam to his appointment yesterday.
