why would you build an expensive pipe when supposedly we are going to depend less on non renewable natural resources in the future? Pretty sure they want that land for other reasons. I mean really let's be honest.

Is the entire path of the pipeline a cemetery? Is the pipeline on private land? I would honestly like to know.

Wow so I guess CNN is now forced to mention something about this....

I don't care if that land is sacred or not. As a rule of thumb, always root against the white man. Go Native Americans!!!

the pipeline is underground is only 1- 2 1/2 feet in diameter and is heavily regulated so it will not pollute the environment, so I don't see the big deal here.

Boy, lots of cups running over here. CNN should have at least checked to see if burials were disturbed and if so, what was done with the remains. For all the whiners here, the Native Americans have the same right to having a culture as the rest of the country. They are not obligated to become what other people want. You're the ones that need to let it go.

The pipeline is a narrow strip of land. Dont see how this affects anyone.. And all these people use petroleum products and drive trucks so they're hypcrites.

White Europeans conquered this land hundreds of years ago if we want a pipe line we will build one its called the spoils of war, a war we won..native americans shouldn't have gave up its land to us in the first place they should of fought to the last man.
