Billions of People Kiss This Rock Every Year

Al-Hajar al-Aswad, also known as the Black Stone, is a large stone located in the corner of the Kaaba, which is the holiest place for Muslims in Saudi Arabia.

Muslims believe that this rock is actually a meteorite that archangel Gabriel handed over to the prophet Abraham.

The Black Stone is cut in half and encased in a silver frame, with one half embedded in the Kaaba's outer wall and the other half displayed inside the building.

The Black Stone is considered a sacred object in Islam and is kissed or touched by many Muslims during the pilgrimage to Mecca, known as the Hajj.

Al-Hajar al-Aswad is a black stone that is located in the Kaaba, the holiest site in Islam. The Kaaba is located in the city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia and is considered to be the most sacred site in Islam. Muslims around the world face towards the Kaaba during their daily prayers, and it is a mandatory ritual of the Hajj, one of the Five Pillars of Islam, to perform Tawaf around the Kaaba.

Al-Hajar al-Aswad is believed by Muslims to be a meteorite that was brought to Mecca by the angel Gabriel and given to the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to be placed in the Kaaba. The stone is revered for its spiritual significance and is said to have been kissed and touched by the Prophet Muhammad. It is also said to have been incorporated into the Kaaba during its reconstruction by the Prophet Ibrahim and his son Isma'il.

The stone is set into the eastern corner of the Kaaba, and it is not clear what the original size and shape of the stone was before it was set into the Kaaba. It is now encased in a silver frame and is covered in a black silk and gold curtain known as the kiswah.

We don't kiss it due to worship, or we love it. As the second caliph Umar said "we know you are just a stone that cannot benefit or harm but we kiss it following the example of Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wasallam

Muhammed never spoke to Archangel Gabriel. He spoke to a demon.

If this rock were to be kissed a billion times a year, it should be kissed at a constant rate of 32 people per second

Actually : The stone is from the Paradise and was at first white, but then after a long time it turned black because of the sins we humans do and because of our sins the stone turned black.

Just to clarify.. The black part is not the stone. The stone is now shattered to pieces and if u look closely u'll see the small pieces. Also inside the building everyone is not permitted to enter. Only a few lucky persons, to clean up.

2nd caliphate of Islam Hazrath Umar (RAA) narrated that he kissed the Black Stone and said, 'I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit anyone nor harm anyone. Had I not seen Allah's Messenger(P.B.U.H. ) kissing you, I would not have kissed you.' Agreed upon.

*For those who think Muslims kiss the stone only, No... we kiss our perfect book The Qur'an after reading, we kiss the Kaaba, we greet by kissing each other's cheeks, we kiss our parent's hands, when we say goodbye we kiss the dead body. AND IT'S ALL DONE OUT OF RESPECT!!!* ❤

Fun Fact: The black stone is said to be actually white, however it turned black absorbing all the sins of those who touched it.

According to Muslim belief, they do not worship this rock. They only kiss it out of love. Kissing does not mean worshipping. So guys please do not disrespect other's religions.
