MHA's 2024 Policy Institute: Social Drivers of Mental Health- Panel 1: Integrating Care in Schools

Speakers discussed policies that promote effective integration and financing of mental health care in schools. Research shows care outcomes have positive impact on health, attendance, and achievement. Topics also included coordinating between school and outside community care. State programs were highlighted, including Kaiser Permanente's work with the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) in California to support children, youth, and families.
