This is a tricky feature to market. It's going to be hard to convince competitive gamers to switch from their existing systems. Maybe a free trial week of the Ultiamte Tier so people can check it out for themselves? 🤔 Or maybe bring in some existing esports players to play around with it.

That's a nice latency you got there, I am just wondering if low-end devices will be able to decode 240 fps video and the amount of bandwidth required will not be low either.

Depending on your internet connection and how far are from the main gaming server. If you run on a server across country you will get a higher ping lag pluss it depends on many others factors befor your game packets are sent out on every frame that can go wrong in between. Only thing this might be good on is one player.it seems like they dumb down graphics for multiple player games compared to one player off line graphic settings to keep the online packets balance with graphics to work on most common gaming computers.

But my ping is 80ms so i cant win a single gun fight with opponent who got 2 to 8ms ping.

GFN Ultimate didnt work with my 75mbit 4G Router, was way to spotty of a connection, high latency and lag.

but since I upgraded to a 500mbit 5G outdoor router (I dont have the possibility of lan internet out of the wall, thats why I'm using routers with a sim card) my Internet is really good. usually around 45-58mb/s, so around 400-460mbit/s. And with this connection GFN works really good.

My old PC runs with a 1080p60 monitor so a 4080 is really overpowered for that. Thats why i started to use my 50 inch 4k60 Samsung TV (cheap one from like 2021/2022, cost around 600€) as my PC monitor yesterday. Or rather connect my PC to the TV in the living room. And man the games look sick, latency is really good, i almost cant feel it. Im not playing competitive shooters tho. But im games like Remmant 2, Starfield etc. there arent any issues. I love it.

Its just a bit expensive for me. I use PC game pass with GFN Ultimate to have more games to play, this combo is great. And ofc my Steam library.

I will definitely continue to use that until the end lf the year when I'm building a new high end PC with like a 7800x3D/9800x3D if that one is already released together with a 4080S/4090/5080/5090, depending on the prices. Then theres obviously no need to continue using this service. But now its godsend. I can play Remnant 2 in 4k on max settings even tho I only have a i7 3770 + GTX 1070 PC lmao

I have the ultimate tier subscription but the max fps I get is 135 in game . 240 fps that they promise is fraud.

I would love a working FPS counter tho? when I use the Nvidia overlay (ALT+R) I only see my PC stats and no FPS. I also cant use MSI Afterburner/RTSS, doesnt do anything bc I'm not running the game on my PC.


only when a game has a built in FPS counter, I can see it. D4, POE come to mind.

I’ve played on 20-30ms laptops and it feels horrible for competitive gaming. If this gets under 10ms it might be viable.

Why I play on only 120 FPS and higher ping but in normal games I play 240 FPS and good ping someone help?

I like the direction you guys are trying to head in with GeForce now. But I don’t consider it competitive THAT much. Cloud gaming should be an alternative if you have a bad rig, not a lot of storage, or want to play pc games on the go if you have good enough Wi-Fi. Story games like half life work great on GeForce now. But games like tf2 aren’t the best due to the disadvantages with streaming.
