It’s honestly beautiful how gentle everyone was with Claire. The women were so kind to here. Many times people don’t know what to say to people after a loss but they captured this so perfectly

For me this was the most heartbreaking scene in ‘Outlander’ Caitriona deserved every award there is for her outstanding performance, what a phenomenal actress, also her performance when describing Faith to Jamie was second to non, Just unforgettable as was Jamie’s face, full of compassion and disbelief all at the same time, really magnificent acting 🎭

This scene is my favorite in this whole season. A character that, at least in the show, is very superficial and fatuous, and yet she tells Claire exactly what she needs to hear and is there for her in her lowest point.

Every single time I watch this episode, I cry. It never fails to bring me to tears and I’ve watched it at least 10 times. Hits the same each time. Cait acting here is SUPERB! She really taps into the pain of losing a child. It’s indescribable. 😢😢😢😢

This was probably the most heartbreaking scene in the entire Outlander series.

I could really live into this scene, project the feelings of what Claire must have felt as I too had to go through a stillbirth. Also a little girl. I was also able to hold her and give her a name. This scene had really brought all of that out and accurately portrayed what a woman goes through following such a loss.

How about “Claire meets Baby Faith” or “Baby Faith dies” she experienced a stillbirth, the loss of her first child, the death of her daughter. Miscarriage is not even the correct term medically in this case.

I cried when I saw this for the first time. I had my 2nd miscarriage recently and I suffered a great lost from them both. My first one I was 22 and I had no one to turn too, my ex bf didn’t believe me and said I deserved it. I had to carry that guilt alone.

My 2nd and recent one my fiancé been star and helped me through it. He’s upset too I know but he expresses feelings in a different way to me. Which is fine.

This scene is really heartbreaking and her acting is very good. Sorry to say but I find Claire&Brianna’s characters quite annoying but I really feel the pain Claire went through. 🤗

One of my all-time favorite episodes, brava to writer Toni Graphia! I believe this is called a stillbirth (born dead), not a miscarriage. Mother Hildegarde tells Claire the baby was "mort-né".

I know they couldn’t do it, but I wish they could’ve brought Faith to Lallybroch so she could’ve been buried with her grandma Ellen, uncle William and grandpa Brian.
