It's an absorbing hobby. When I was small my Dad and I had a big layout in our attic space. However we never did much in the way of landscaping. I realise there is this desire to make it look like the world in miniature, but my thrill came from seeing something move almost by magic. My train set sits in a box in my garage, waiting for the day I have room to get it out.

I’m absolutely blown away ! The sounds, the realism, everything.
The only thing I would do, as someone from an RC Scale model aircraft background, is have a right old go with an airbrush putting on some weathering and muck on everything 👍

Here in the USA there is a super market called Wallmart. I purchased a 4-pk of 12-inch cork panels, used for wall decoration. With a few hobby stores closed, I used the cork as track roadbed for my n-scale layout. It works great. I see that you are using a large roll of cork to lay your track on. Nice video mate.
