Jinno's totally loving the new 2022 Ducati Desert X. On top of being the Italian brand's first adventure bike, it's also a stunner of a motorcycle—now available in the Philippines. Equipped with the Ducati Monster's 937cc L-Twin engine, it punches out 110 horsepower and 92 Newton-meters of torque, perfect for any adventure and great for any highway. On top of all of this, you can feel the Italian passion in every button, every switch, and with every pull of the throttle. Find out more about it here in this Beyond the Ride review.

Surprised to see that you have not reviewed many motorcycles from Triumph. Like speed twin and scrambler 1200

If you get the lower seat and give it a few KM the springs will settle ant it will be lower.
You can also shave some seat foam.

The one I tested at the dealer was tall at the beginning and after 1 month I cold flat foot it with the lowered seat.

The "Mark Soong I'm talking about you" made me laugh.😂

I got sit on the Africa Twin (did not want to ride it because it's to wide and it was rush hour), tried the T700 (also heavy traffic) and got to ride the Desert X properly.
It was fantastic, the problem is I am 180 cm and with the low seat it was still to tall... If I end up buying it I will add the lovering kit as my off-roading is light.

If the Africa wasn't as wide as it is I would buy it right now.

Waiting to see if there is a new announcement for a Honda 750 adventure at EICMA, if not... T700 or DesertX.

If there is a new T700 (not world raid) with cornering ABS and rain mode, I would get that one and just add a lovered seat and maybe lovering kit with fuel pouches on the crashbars, for extra km.

If there are no such announcements I will go for the DesertX, it's wonderful and it gave me a great feeling when riding it.

Just so you know, my current ex bike is a 2016 DL650 xt (just sold it).

Of course he is loving it because he didn't have to pay $20 K and +$$ for essential mods. I rode it twice with intend to buy, with me it wasn't love at first sight and still dont know which I'm in market for lighter adventure travel bike. Most impressed I was with, how light it felt weight distiribution IMO superior Love the Rally and Enduro modes, wasn't impressed with Sport which is first I pretty much ride all other Ducs on Sport most times include 1260 Enduro unless I'm on dirt. Bottom line I really cant see myself dropping that kind of money for a bike I cant call clearly superior to everything I ever rode in its class

Thanks for the review brother. Though Aprilia Tuareg day, for the price/tech/weight/suspension respectively.

Beautiful bike. So much better looking than the new KTM ADVs.

Hello, which country do you make your videos?

Lose the electronics and sell it for 13k and then maybe…
Also the air filter is a pain in the ass to to clean/ change. Not very practical on a ADV bike..

🇵🇭 Saying how tall you are relative to the bike is important. 😅 Not a lot of love for ducatis since they're usually tall. Off roading that is another story too. Would love to get the extra tank as an accessory.

why is it taking the manufacturers so long to get these out, or the T7 for that matter? I thought about a T7 over two years ago and the dealers still have not had stock. Im assuming that in the T7s case it is because they are so cheap?

Seriously thought - same template for literally all review videos on the channel? 'stopping power is provided by... Keeping bumps at bay...' and all that. Seems like script was written once and then the poor guy who wrote it was fired
