I'm completely paralyzed between the Desert X, Husqvarna Norden 901, Honda Transalp, Tiger 800. It's a great time to be in the market for a mid-sized ADV bike, and simultaneously a stressful time because there are so many good options, each with pros/cons.

I am so baffled why they would design the auxiliary tank and the luggage racks to not be compatible with each other. What on earth were they thinking??? There's a reason the "explorer" models of ADV bikes with larger tanks are so popular. Ducati has such an elegant solution and then ruined it by taking away your ability to carry any decent sized luggage over those long distances you'll be traveling. 🤦

Whatever. I'm still gonna buy one.
