🧠 The visual parts of the brain are located in the back.
The occipital lobe, which is responsible for vision, is positioned on the backside of your brain. This is why people will see stars if they suffer a blow to the back of their heads. The eyesight on the right side is controlled by the left half of the brain and the opposite. Sound is processed on the opposite sides of the head as well.

This sounds exactly like my deceased cat. She lived in my barn, and I always fell asleep on a hay bale, as she lied on top of me. She was mute, and so she couldn’t meow, but I still loved her. Her name was Buckbeak, (yes, a Harry Potter reference), but since I’m Danish, her name was technically Stormwind. We gave her some nicknames, including Stalker, Stormy, Stormer, and Stool. She ran away months ago, and I’m trying to convince myself, she just joined a clan. (Yes, Warriors reference) But she *did* leave three kittens behind for us, two make, and one female. Unfortunately, one of the male kits died, and it was devastating. His name was Cheeto, named after another passed cat, whose meow and purr I can’t even remember.
I miss Cheeto and Cheeto almost every single day, I still feel their presence as I cry, typing this. The two others were named Pine and Luna, or as I like to call them, Pinekit and Lunakit. (Soon to be Pinepaw and Lunapaw) Pine has his mother’s purr, and I sleep with him almost every single night. But when I can’t sleep with him, at my dad’s place, or when he leaves my room. Thank you, it sounds just like my little Stalker and Pine.❤

I have read, more than one source, that the HZ sound of purring actually helps our bones heal better, with a denser structure. Amazing.

Every day I come here so my 1 month old kitten can listen to this. Every night I read all the comments while he’s drinking his bottle. It’s gotten kinda cozy here! ❤

I absolutely love the different variety of sounds we get to hear at night from early spring through autumn. There are all different kinds of crickets, treefrogs and other frogs, (especially if you live near a lake, pond or swamp.) It's best if they can be captured in nature away from the city, and the farther away from the cities and suburbs, the better. I unfortunaately live in the city, and the light pollution really affects the birds, so they are really stressed. Here in the U.S., we need to turn off the lights, (especially in our cities), and let everything have a rest. If we don't do this, we're going to lose many more birds and night creatures, and we've already got a crisis on our hands with so much animal loss as it is. Dark skies at night also even help clean the air, and I haven't smelled that amazing fresh, night air at night in weigh, too long.

I don't know where you are, but if you're also here in the U.S.A., I hope you'd agree with me about restoring our civilization by coming home, shutting off all unnecessary lights and just letting nature do what it's supposed to do. I'm afraid we have done too much damage, and some animal and bird species are nearly extinct, and some are extinct. One in particular is the Wood Thrush here in the South. It's threatened with extinction, because for one thing, cats are killing them, and some birds are so confused by our lighting in the big cities that they're flying right into those big windows on our high rises and breaking their necks. As a result, too many are dying, and this is completely preventable.
I also like hearing all the other creatures of the night during the spring, summer and autumn like foxes and all sorts of bugs. If we would get off the roads and stop partying so darn much and start taking better care of each other and our companions, the animals, I really believe we can slowly return to a much more civil life! Slowing down also does our bodies so much good, because we need real, deep sleep, and when lights are always turned on, our bodies can't make enough Melatonin. We also would be able to better process L-Tryptophan and L-theanine. These are vital amino acids we need to help us restore our circadian rhythm. (No wonder we're so stressed out!!)
It's true that we've created so much chaos in our lives, and it's time to put a stop to it. I really hope we will educate each other and take this very seriously, because if we don't, we won't have a balance in our food chain, and we won't be able to repair the damage we've already done to our environment. We have no excuses. I hope you can come up with tons of amazing sounds.
Now, if only we could develop smell-o-vision! I love Night-Blooming Jasmine!
