Within the first few days that I was pregnant, before I even knew, my cats started showing different behavior. Both took turns laying across my lower belly and calmly purring and slowly blinking at me, when I was laying in bed. It seemed like they were purposefully doing this with some type of determined meaning, so I didn’t want to move them. I will say that the vibrations of the purring seemed to help the minor cramping I was feeling and felt like a lullaby. It’s interesting, I think they knew I was pregnant nearly right away.
