Secure English language test b1

You must pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) in at least CEFR level B1 in Speaking and Listening for:
Indefinite Leave to Remain (to settle) or British Citizenship.
The B1 SELT is for those applying for settlement or British Citizenship.
It is a 10 minute speaking and listening exam set out in an interview style format.
It is a One-to-One speaking and listening tests with an examiner and it’s delivered remotely via video conference. All tests will continue to take place at UKVI approved SELT centre so you still need to go to an exam centre to take the test.
There are two parts to this exam.
Part 1 is to prepare a Topic: You choose a topic to prepare in advance of the test, for discussion with the examiner. You must complete a Topic Form in advance and bring it with you to the exam.
Part 2 is a Conversation: You have a short conversation with the examiner about two subject areas which will be chosen by the examiner.
You must take proof of identity (ID) to the SELT test centre when you go.
