Ruru Tiny Homes: Custom design - Two bedrooms tiny home on wheels

In 2022 we picked up a custom enquiry from a local client who brought in her own ideas and layout.

Whilst at Ruru we usually focus on repetitive design and set schedules for a build, this was a great opportunity for us to learn and experiment with new materials, different styles and finishings. A lot went into this home including sweat, tears and a lot of love.

We’re extremely proud and happy with the result of this beautiful custom tiny home, it sure has been a journey, but we’re very glad to see how perfect it turned out - so is the owner!

A price you ask? It’s priceless! 😂 but seriously, fully customised Ruru tiny homes will be quoted off a base price depending on size, number of bedrooms and will be specific to interior and exterior materials including necessary labour allocation.

The base price for our 10x3M Toroa model is $215,000 inc.
(This unit is a 10x3M with significant customisation)

The Toroa is a double storey, two bedroom, tiny home on wheels. Offering height and space, the Toroa has ceilings in bathroom and kitchen of 2100mm height and a standing height of 1900mm on the walkway. On a 10x3m platform, this home boasts 49.5m2 floorspace.

I'm in LOVE with this one!!!
The change I would make would be to add a washer/dryer & solar panels to it. Also, the solar panels that are atmospheric processors generating water from air. That way you can readily live off grid.

The only change I would need is to remove the huge glass not like those. I prefer solid wall with ordinary entry door. Otherwise, I love it!!

wow, just wow. I never thought I would like a tiny house on wheels over a park model, but this layout and design is awesome, doesnt look or feel cramped at all. I could actually have enough storage and my sewing room.

Such a lovely tiny home. Is there room for a washing machine in those cupboards in the bathroom? Would a king-size or Californian king-size mattress fit on the bed platform? I like that you can stand up in the main bedroom, is that correct?
