Oh Divine One, who is as magnificent as the Hibiscus flower
To you, the blessed son of Kashyapa, how powerfully radiant.
To you, the fierce enemy of darkness, and the One who washes away all sins,
To your brilliant infinite light, I humbly bow.

WORD TO WORD MEANING (Translation from Sanskrit to English):

"Om Japaakusuma Sankaasham
Kaashyapeyam Mahaadhyuthim
Thamorim Sarvapaapaghnam
Pranathosmi Dhivaakaram"

Japaakusuma = the hibiscus flower
Sankaasham = resembling

Kaashyapeyam = son of sage Kashyap
Mahaadhyuthim = one with immense brightness/brilliance

Thamorim = enemy of darkness (lethargy, inertia, sadness etc)
Sarvapaapaghnam = destroyer of all sins

Pranathosmi = I bow
Dhivaakaram = another Vedic name of Sun (maker of day / giver of daylight)


So put together, here is my approximate translation:
OM, I humbly bow and salute Him whose color resembles the pollen grains of the hibiscus flower, the brilliantly shining son of Sage Kashyap, who is the destroyer of all evil darkness, ignorance and sins, Sun the life and daylight giver.
