This game is wonderful. To give you an idea of how wonderful, literally my only nitpick is that there is some dialogue that stays on screen for too long during a few story segments. That's it. No other flaws.

After 100%ing BotW and Odyssey I can confidently say that this game is the most fun I have had with my Switch so far. It is pure gold and it keeps on giving long after you think you've discovered everything. It is a must-have.

Not gonna lie, this is an amazing game. The first builders was great, but it felt like they were trying their hand at the minecraft formula and putting a dragon quest skin on it. This one has simplified the gameplay, but made so many quality of life changes and overall upgrades that I feel it has become its own identity and is what this series was meant to be. I might be slightly addicted. Great job Dragon quest team, your game is amazing. I have no idea if they will see this or not.

Definitely one of the better video games I've played this year. I've sunk most of my free time since launch into the game. The campaign takes quite a while to complete, and the post-game opens up your sandbox island for building anywhere with new recipes, etc.

This game is next level amazing. Tim Rogers from Kotaku said "Dragon Quest Builders 2 is trying to be your new forever game" and he wasn't wrong.
