well if you like runescape its ok i used to play it, but honestly i like skyrim bc of its story line, and the fact that it has a million more quest. then they also have dlc wich will make skyrim much larger or add a new main quest line. its ok to perfer runescape but just bc skyrim is a midevil, swords, bows nd arrows game doesnt mean its a rip off of runescape

Skyrim - produced by a major corporation, amazing graphics, quests you have to find yourself, and no Online Multiplayer.

RuneScape - produced by a lesser known organization, decent graphics for the game it is, quests that are clear to understand and easy to find, and constant multiplayer.

It seems to me the multiplayer makes the biggest difference for some, however.

@TheSuperhoppin I mean like in skyrim do i have a massive desert or a peaceful autumn village with no guards or a city in the wilderness? Do i have a renaissance city full of snobby nobles and a huge amount of guards? All i have is a Snowy viking environment. I bet the DLC will basically be like where i can board a ship and travel to one of the provinces in tamriel

And in Skyrim all you do is go into a dungeon, fight something, and find a shop that has enough gold for you to sell your loot to. Rinse and repeat.

@Otobob Actually both regions are quite arid. i'm quite sure that i read that elsweyr is mostly desert like and has an edge with fertile land where most kahjit actually live. But ingame kahjit missing their warm home land of sand makes me believe it most. And yes indeed Hammerfel is definatly a desert I've been hanging around Nazir ;)

I WAS once a runescape player had 4 maxed skills out of 26-which is very time consuming but ever since i got Skyrim i cant get enough of it.2 months of skyrim 4 years of runescape my answer is Skyrim alll the

If Daggerfall was exactly like Skyrim, with the same gameplay elements and all that stuff, but with the same graphics, people would play it. You're talking about the gameplay. Though I agree if it's from 2D Pacman > Crysis but that's a huge leap.

What do you define as "gameplay"? Pressing multiple buttons? Everything interactive within a game is gameplay.

Games: You level either by pushing a button or clicking. It the way of gaming. Passing along the time when your bored. Although in games you do also get bored doing games. So you switch the game you play and get bored with that.

Isn't it great to have games like that? Or.. to do something else than living a full life instead of a half life?

Skyrim has over 300 hours of gameplay? I have 97 hours on Skyrim and 4017 on RuneScape(167 days).
