More and more COVID-19 mutations continue to weaken antibody reactions to vaccines and the immune system of those vaccinated, weakens against COVID-19 over time. This is according to the National Institute for Communicable Diseases which suggests that vaccines may have to be administered every year.

This is expected though. We have flu vaccine booster shots every year, some of us who have had repeated bouts of pneumonia have a pneumoccal vaccine every 5 years or so, then you have the gardasil vaccine where you require 3 jabs over 9 months before being fully protected. This is not insane in any way but perfectly normal to expect from most vaccinations against viruses that can effect your Respiratory system., as there are new strains that form each year. Unless you have an absolute bullet proof immune system, it would be expected that most people should go for booster shots every year.
