I have been with DJI Phantom products almost since the beginning, and I think the P3 looks looks pretty amazing in terms of new features and improvements. BUT the fact it is not compatible with GoPro cams anymore, in particular Zenmuse gimbals, is an absolute deal breaker to me. I hope you will change your mind and come up with a "naked" model again.

Are the remotes for the Inspire 1 and Phantom 3 interchangeable?

The only difference I see is the HDMI port.

If I were to get the P3 professional and it records in 4K and you wanted to post to say YouTube or FB will they recognize 4K.  If not how would you change that to 1080 video??

I would like to know what they have done to improve the GPS locks. I went to their Web site, looked at the specs. Yes they now include Glonass satellites, but have they improved the gain on the antenna or improved the sawtooth noise filter. Not to mention improved shielding and re-routing of cables as in the p2v+ v3.

Looks like they took 5 steps foward then 2 steps back.i don't know why they did not put a 3 axis camera gimbal and some retracts.that would have been really cool for the phantom 3.

i like it but for the price ill get a phantom 1or2 and just put the fat shark system on it, sorry.

On the plus side..Knowing there is a P3 out..has helped me to fly my P2V+ more agressively...
