What does the S2 Switch do on a DJI Phantom 3 Controller??

If your phone runs out of battery and you can't see it or it's far away you can flick the s2 switch and it will return that's why it's a feature

I sent you a question about the P3 Standard responding backwards. Basically, up is down, left is right... unless you move the remote sticks so gently. Otherwise, it’s almost impossible to fly. Well I figured it out. It was just a simple calibration of the remote in settings. There are several blogs about people having this same issue. If you make a video of this... so many people will watch. I bought my drone from eBay. The man also had the same issue. That’s why I got it so cheap.LOL! I thought I had a brick drone and almost returned it until I finally figured it out last night.
If you don’t make a video, I’ll do it. But yours are better than I could make and I’m not trying to get a bunch of people asking me questions as I’m still learning from guys like you who already know what your talking about.
There are many people who need this help. Thanks again for all your videos. You’ve helped me a lot.

I was glad to find this, got a message on my phone that it had "overheated" and was closing all applications before turning off. I wasn't sure of the orientation of the drone about 2500 feet away, luckily was able to fly it back. Using the switch on the left will give some peace of mind.
