So true! Even applies to outside the film industry. Things like making costumes are great for plays and cosplay, script discussions can help aspiring screenwriters and even novelists. And at the very minimum seeing a film you love and then seeing a special feature that shows just how many people and how many hours and how much difficulty there was to produce said film, it all can exponentially increase your love for that film

In my opinion, it depends on the individual. Some people don't want to ruin the magic and not spoil how it was made/done. For me however, I'm always happy to have a special features/behind the scenes, because i enjoy watching them.

I dearly remember the 10 Minute Film School supplements supplied by Robert Rodriguez in Spy Kids 3D. Never would I imagine that you can make a film _from your house_, and today I'm working on a character to use in a short film. Recently I love commentary tracks, especially the Star Wars prequels as they offer so much insight to the movie-making process.

Btw, Disney Plus has special features for films.
