My 2021 Rolex Explorer II ref 226570. Lets take a closer look!

In this video I share some cinematic video of the newly released Rolex Explorer 2 . I picked up this watch from my AD 2 weeks ago. In this video I review this watch, why I picked it and why I love the design. 'll quickly touch up on the most notable differences between this release and the 126570 model. Love the Explorer ever since, the white dial is so amazing. Cool with the different perspective on how the watch suits your wrist! Most reviews are only hands-on and maybe wrist shots. Your shots give a good understanding how the watch will wear. I'm curious if there will be ever a new version of the 1655 which look much more technical. - Wear it in good health and accuracy! 🧡

Dear Bowl Of Salmon, I was amazed when I heard that you were careful when wearing your Speedmaster. I have bought mine Speedmaster in 2008, with the hesalite crystal as my sports watch. I mean that literally, I took mine road cycling, trekking biking, hiking, occasionally flying (with an ultralight airplane), traveling in any weather, in all seasons. I even crashed with it on my arm, with my road bike at about 50km/h (about 30mph) down an alpine pass. The watch took vibrations, shocks, dust, sweat, heat, cold, what have you. The only thing I did not do with it, was go swimming. The watch ran without any problems and after the last maintenance by Omega, it runs more accurately than ever, at less than 1s/d fast in average. So trust me, your Speedmaster is every bit as tough, reliable and long lasting as your Rolex, with the only exception of the reduced water resistance.

I just watched this video and enjoyed it very much. I am considering this watch and have a question. My wrist size is also 6.5 and wondered how precisely the Easy Link works for you. Are you able to get a fit that is comfortable as your wrist expands or contracts in very warm or cool weather? It looked like you have 4 links on the 6 and 5 links on the 12 which is the same way I wear the Submariner. Any thoughts on your bracelet fit would be appreciated . Stephen

Great video. I just picked mine up from the AD two days ago. I am really pleased with it. I have a couple of overlanding rigs and do a ton of hiking and camping. I can’t really think of a better adventure watch!

Did you look at the explorer 1 option in 40mm or was that never on your radar?.. just wondering what made you lean towards the explorer 11 over the 1. I am going thru the same dilemna currently.

The best video of 226570 on Yt. Well done. Concise, told in a good tone with a touch of humor, beautiful macro shots. Probably the only one who mentioned that the dial is lacquered. It suits you good too, wear it in a good health, I hope I ll get mine by the end of the year.

The polar dial more popular but I prefer like the black dial (the new version has white gold accents and high polished hands which really make it pop against the black dial). The white dial is more subtle and some people prefer the classic look.
