Alexander Skarsgård HATES dieting

Alexsander Skarsgård hated dieting during his preparation for movies such as The Northman and The Legend of Tarzan.

Working with celebrity trainer Magnus Lygdbäck, he used phased approach to the diet. The first 3 month phase he enjoyed, but the second phase he found extremely difficult.

I definitely understand how cutting would absolutely suck after bulking, but for me the bulking is the worst.. just having to stuff your face & force feed yourself when you're genuinely not hungry at all. I've never been able to do it for more than a few days at a time. The discipline the actors have is next level!

The Northman inspired me to get back into the gym and learn more about diet/exercise. As I’ve learned more, it becomes more and more obvious steroids were used. His traps were absolutely insane.
