I'm even scared to imagine how those rich and famous people feel... the noise passes, the photo flashes too, you meet yourself and the emptiness that has flooded everything... some of them take up charity and "good works" to at least reduce that feeling of meaninglessness and emptiness, some succeed in it... you sit and look at the wealth you have, and realize with horror that it doesn't make you happy, but only gives you new ways and opportunities to end your life with an unnatural death... it's terrible to live without God...

I learned at a very young age that I didn't like attention, much, as it always led to something negative. My reaction to the concept of being "rich and famous" has always been "I'll take the riches, you can keep the fame".
To this day, I've never wanted to be well-known, and I always avoid attention. It's a big reason as to why I haven't done things like making a YouTube channel.

"Fame is isolating..."...how true that is...when you're at the "top", there are very few people up there with you, and if you can't find connection with those people, you're "completely" alone...

I listened to Mr. Friel since I was in High School and still agnostic... whenever I hear his voice it takes me back to those 5AM, dark, sleepy morning bus rides to school and the days when I wasn't saved... I cannot thank Mr. Friel enough for the audio recording posted on the Wretched Radio website with the simple layout from 2008 that was titled "Are you a luke warm in your walk"? or something like that. Thank-you, sir and cannot wait to meet you one day-second to the LORD of course. :)

I'm a professional musician who has worked with some of the biggest names In CCM music. I even signed autographs many times. I made decent money and I was not famous, or only famous to those who came out to the shows. I use to work in Hollywood as an extra and stand In to very famous people all of you would know If I mentioned them. This was back in the late 80's early 90's. In that I was not famous by any means, but I can 100% understand what those celebrities were going through because I could see If I kept going down this path I would become trapped, fearful and miserable. And I felt trapped and fearful with just doing what I was doing. Not even achieving any fame or success on their level I was becoming an emotional rollercoaster of fear, and entrapment. People have no clue what that world Is all about unless you've had some experience In It. And you don't have to be Johnny Depp to experience It.

Serve God = Happy. So true. Doesn’t mean life is all jolly but it’s reassuring to know he is there with us through everything and this life is just a blip on the screen. I can’t even wrap my brain around how it will be for eternity in the presence of our awesome God!

It’s impossible to serve two masters; if you don’t serve God then you will have to serve yourself, money, social status, politicians, celebrities, or something else that is not God. No one worships nothing, the only question is, what do you worship.
