Willam Dafoe is the nicest, coolest, most generous guy. I just started the phone co. at 50 Varick St. I'm walking down the street and he's coming right at me with dry cleaning over his shoulder. He knew I recognized him and I asked for an autograph. He hanged his dry cleaning on a fence and gladly signed my worksheet. He then stood there and had a conversation with me, wanting to know about me! Blew my mind. 36 years later and I still have a smile on my face. A true gentleman

I met Willem Defoe about 10 years ago. Nicest person I've ever met! Our conversation only lasted about 15 minutes but I felt like I was talking to a good friend. And yes, his smile is huge and genuine!

Dustin learned alot when he did "Little Big Man". Enjoyed all of these gentlemen's movies. Like the Buddha it's harder to find zen when you have wealth, power or notoriety. For those of us with none of those things our journey is still to understand the richness of a simple life is not measured by riches but in how the rising of the sun makes you happy each day. I love a simple life.

I can definitely vouch for that about Tommy Lee Jones. I worked as a mechanic for a private Lear Jet charter in El Paso Texas when I got out of the Army at Ft Bliss. He flew with us a few times and I remember the first time I met him. I had to buzz him in, since our office/hangar was another access point for the El Paso airport (this was a few months before 9/11). He drove up in an old Ford pickup, and was wearing old jeans, boots, button down shirt and white straw cowboy hat with sunglasses. I didn’t recognize him until he spoke. He was a very polite and down to earth guy.

I used to see Willem in Tribeca in the mid to late 90's, he looks exactly the same in these clips as he did back then.
