True that there is no proof that it was Tejo Mahalaya. But Shah Jahan's biography 'Badshahnama' quite clearly says that Mumtaz Mahal was buried in a palace in Agra which was owned by Maharaja Jai Singh I of Ajmer and which was bought by the Emperor. What can you say against these?
