Every time you sit in this car is like the first time.
Still a cracking ride even after all these years.

BMW's best engine of all time. If this engine was shoe horned into a small lightweight 1M coupe, with a manual transmission, that would be perfection.

I have come to the conclusion that this is going to be my next purchase..I currently drive a r53 MINI...however I’m 37 and it’s about time I get a “grown up” car...lolz.

Beware ! big end bearings are a ticking time bomb, if you are planning to buy one of these, buy one that has had the bearings replaced, or replace the soon as you purchase the car.
clevite and acl sell the replacement bearings, make sure you check bearing crush of the new bearings 006-008" less than .006" and the bearing could spin, more than .008" will distort the bearing.
