Nice video but you should post the contact info of the 80 20 Sourcing guy, he did 90% of the video. You let him post his email only for less than 1 second. Be fair.

Thanks for the informative video, Greg. I've been using the Jungle Scout chrome extension for a while now and it has been a tremendous help for me as a manufacturer. After watching the video I'm curious how can I get on your manufacturer database. We are a swimwear, underwear and sportswear manufacturing company based in Bulgaria (for those not aware Bulgaria is a part of the EU). We'd love to work with Amazon Sellers and we're developing a private label service at the moment, which means we can offer the complete package: product design, manufacturing and logo and packaging design. It's true it's a bit more expensive to manufacture in Europe, because of the higher labour costs, but we're not far off and we offer superior quality and we have a geographical advantage for those who sell in Europe. Oh, almost forgot to mention - no tariffs within the EU.

Hello Greg
Why u don't built data for wholesale suppliers in US for Amazon wholesale model business ?

I paid 25+6 percent tax to my latest import from China. That’s a huge deal in my opinion. I don’t know about the multi billion dollar companies but it certainly has a deep effect on our SME.

If i understood correct: Can you see your competitors where they get the products from? I don't get it.
I don't feel like this is proper.

Can we have the link of the cheatsheet for the most affected products?

I am currently a JS member. I was curious what method you recommend for sourcing a product from india ex. (alibaba). I understand one of the tools can help find which manufacturers that our competitors are using, but we're looking for a more general search method.

*The notice states that the tariff increase on List 3 goods will be effective with respect to goods that are (i) entered for consumption, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after 12:01 a.m. eastern daylight time on May 10, 2019; and (ii) exported to the United States on or after May 10, 2019. Thus, the notice appears to exclude from the increased tariff rate goods that are shipped from China prior to May 10 but enter the United States on or after the effective date of the tariff increase. Consequently, subject merchandise already in transit to the United States (e.g., goods that were exported before the United States announced the tariff increase) may be able to enter at the previous Section 301 duty rate of 10 percent, provided that the importer can demonstrate that the goods were exported before May 10.*

One other thing that many people don't factor into the decision to manufacture outside of China is that no country (especially small countries like Vietnam) has a labor force the size of China. This definitely affects the overall factory output that a country like Vietnam can achieve and will undoubtedly prevent them from being the "new" China when it comes to manufacturing. Also, the investments made by the Chinese government in infrastructure and labor force development is pretty much unparalleled in the world which is a big factor in China's ability to dominate manufacturing.
