the last command in your list didn't work when i try the (rename WindowsApps WindowsApps.old) it didn't work it gave me a access denied
any subjection how to complete this system restore error problem? This seems to be a common problem that people run into with this access denied while trying to complete this system restore error fix. It should be part of your tutorial how to get around this.

Can I do this while in Advanced options? I ask because my laptop won't let me go into safe mode it just keeps looping on start up and will eventually just give me the option to either restart or advanced options. Thanks for the vid either way!

Hey Buddy, I saw your video. It's fine but my issue is that -I'm getting the same error code while updating my windows. I tried several times but always update is incomplete showing the same error code. If u have any suggestion then tell me.

PS C:\Program Files> icacls WindowsApps /grant “%USERDOMAIN%\%USERNAME%”:(F) /t
F : The term 'F' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the
spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.
At line:1 char:54
+ icacls WindowsApps /grant “%USERDOMAIN%\%USERNAME%”:(F) /t
+ ~
+ CategoryInfo : ObjectNotFound: (F:String) [], CommandNotFoundException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException

So, what do I do to get around this issue? Copied and pasted first command which worked. Stuck on second command...please advise...

I'm beyond fucking tired of microsoft's abysmal QA, in my case its the linux subsystem that doesn't install with the same god damn error (its not really a restore at all).
