When he said Brian. I knew it was Winnie’s Brother. I remember that. It was another memorable scene, the dance scene when Keisha dance with the 8th grader, and Winnie dance with the guy, the same song played on both. When a man loves a woman.

They did a whole 18 episodes just to connect parallel universe is which blew my mind. Honestly I thought they were showing the show from an African-American point of view in the time zone but when they made this connection it was crazy and the show is great. I’m still watching it.

That was incredibly both understated and shocking at the same time. My late brother who watched the original faithfully with me would have loved it. I immediately thought of him and wished I could have called him. He probably would have had the same reaction and called me first. That was for me, a TV history scene. Very emotional.

I love the original series and it totally hit me, didn't expect it, I got goosebumps when I heard the name of it!! even had tears in my eyes, really great!!I like the new series too!!
