One huge moment is missing. At prom night, many couples dancing. Kevin and Winnie enter the floor, trying to find one another, but can't. They just walk right past each other. And the narrator goes: "All our young lives we search for someone to love. Someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We danced to a song of heartbreak and hope. All the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's someone perfect, who might be searching for us.". Just beautiful and heartbreaking.

I found it realistic that Kevin and Winnie didn't end up together. While it's bittersweet, sometimes you don't end up with your childhood sweetheart.

One of THE BEST shows on the planet!

Such a lovely cast, filled with lovely music!!!! 💗

For anyone who can’t or won’t take at least five minutes out of their day, see the heart and soul within these stories and faces don’t know anything about all different kinds of love and about being a part of a family.

I’ve loved this show all my life, and I’ll love this show till the day I die. This show is truly a part of me. :)

Really liked the season 5 ending episode at the restaurant. Kevin finally owns up to his feelings and let her know them and Winnie responds, with passionate kiss. Amazing what happens when you communicate feelings openly and honestly, not playing games.

The heartbreaking moment for me was on the series finale when Kevin revealed he picked up Winnie up from the airport....with his wife and first son. It bursts your child's bubble

As someone who was pouty about Kevin/Winnie not being endgame for years, I'm starting to realize it was set up like that for a reason. Yes, some people do end up with their first love, but many don't, and Kevin and Winnie kept being friends.

One of my favorite shows OF ALL TIME ! I watch at least an episode a day on Hulu. I'm 37 so I remember and watched it when it premiered and so going back and watching any episode is always a pleasure.

30 years later I still shed a tear in the finale at the part where Kevin says that Wayne took over the factory when dad passed away. Great, great television.

The Accident still makes me watery eyed however many times I see it, especially that ending.

As gruff as his dad was, that moment where Kevin comes into the garage after breaking up with Winnie is my fav moment. Reminds me of just how tough my dad was on the outside, but deep down very loving.

Thanks so much for this! Kevin and Winnie are one of the best otps in tv history! The Wonder Years is still just as iconic, classic and nostalgic as it was when it aired. Idk about how this reboot will turn out but in my opinion magic doesn't repeat and lightening only gets caught in a bottle once and this show can't really be replicated no matter how many have tried.

This show will always have a special place in my heart. I loved it as a kid, i love it now as an adult (maybe even more now because i catch little things now that went over my head as a kid), and i will even watch the show when im on my deathbed. I was too young to catch the early seasons when they first aired, but i did catch the last couple seasons when they first aired and i watched this show a lot when it used to come on nick at night. It was the perfect show imo. They perfectly catch how we all feel at certain moments of childhood.. our first best friend, our first kiss with our first girlfriend, school dances, our first breakup and how it absolutely demolishes you but you soldier on, our first makeup, and how certain things seem like theyre earth shattering at the time and not so bad only a week later. Man, it's good.

There's an air of sadness and tragedy about Winnie. A lot of things happen to her, death, divorce, car accident, moving. She subconsciously pushes him away. He wants to take care of her, but theres a push pull dynamic. I think she has a lot of trauma and can't deal with her feelings. Because maybe if she lets herself love him, he might leave her too.

I'm 26 and never watched this show...I've been binging. Their connection is beautiful, and the chemistry between these actors is UNMATCHED. I wonder if they had feelings off camera
