Let me explain the situation as a Turk. In our country many illegal immigrants cross the border and our military and police are not given enough authority. Even if an attacker shoots at people with a gun, the police can go to jail if they kill him, which is ridiculous. We are a country with a high crime rate because of the lack of justice. Our nation has been kind and friendly all these years, but we are in a very tense situation because of the recent economic problems. The government needs to change but there are very strict rules and anyone who speaks out about it is thrown in jail. Our situation is bad. The media thinks we are terrorists but we are not that kind of people. If we were terrorists, why would we attack ourselves? Because we are bordering with the eastern countries, we get all kinds of dirt and they put the responsibility on us. All I ask is that you be sensitive in times like these and don't put the blame on us.
