The carnage on the roads of the Eastern Cape continues. Just yesterday, 10 people died on the province's roads.

The latest crash last night on the R61 near Komani claimed four lives, when a car with four occupants crashed head-on into a truck.

The death toll on the province's roads is now just shy of 100 since the start of the festive season.

Earlier in the day, a mother and her three children died on the N2 near Qunu.
For more, we are joined by our reporter Abongile Jantjies.

Human error more like drunk and driving and people that should not have a license to start with. Lets not forget about the amount of trucks on the road because the government screwed up the rail line and can not fix it because they dont have the brain capacity to even open a packet of chips.
