Sleep -eat before bed, and you will not have as deep of autophagic experience

Reset experience please, I have completed 12 day water fasts (twice so far). Felt amazing! The word 'reset' is perfect as that is how my body felt- New afterwards. The clarity is 👌 ! 14 or 21 day fast is happening now...love your supportive, full of information videos 🙏

I tried multi day fasting, nope. I tried strict carnivore, nope. So, I eat mostly fatty meats with some veggies while keeping carbs around 25 grams per day and do a 24 hour fast once a week. Thanks Doc for keeping us informed.

I've been on intermitted fasting for more than a year. Went bit overboard this holiday season and just completed my first 22 hour fast. Will give it a go now to detox and same time increase my immune system for we are in the middle of the 2nd wave of Covid19 here in Cape Town, South Africa.

My way of balancing the anabolic and catabolic states is eating carnivore OMAD. Plenty of autophagy while still getting plenty of nutrients. I eat my one big meal about 3pm so I don't go to bed with a full stomach. Still can't really see this 17 hour strategy as actual fasting. It's just skipping breakfast, IMO. I suppose it's a good place to start though.

Companion guide please. Thank you Dr. Mindy...shared with my GI Dr that I was doing carnivore diet. His surprising response was that any time the diet excludes fiber and carbs the GI system will be 😊 !

Should I use activated charcoal during a long fast (3+days)? It was suggested to me to catch the heavy metals being released from my fat cells.

When I got my booster shot I fasted for 3 days and experienced an incredible amount of nasty fluids expelled from my body. Nothing like that had ever happened before. Am sure it was autophagy getting rid of toxins! Thank you Dr. Mindy for all the info. Helped me understand what was going on.
