I come from a long line of sleep apnea sufferers, my father has it, my mother has it, my sister now has to use a CPAP. I would wake up choking often and got no sleep, it was terrible. I then found out about an anti-inflammatory diet that had helped many, so I decided to give it a go. I cut out the following - alcohol, sugars, processed food, bread, pizza, cookies, crackers. And I started eating only whole food meals, plus walking everyday. Within 2 months I had no sleep apnea symptoms and now years later I sleep right through the night. I discovered through the process that my problem was twofold - I was slightly overweight, but also my body was inflamed from the types of foods I was eating. It worked for me, it can work for you too.

"The reason people have sleep apnea is that they have obesity..." ??? I have a BMI of 21.93 and apnea and she's the very first person in 69 years who's called me fat. How about getting a medical reporter who knows something abut medicine?
