Im facing a dilemma. Im applying to be a systems verification engineering intern at an innovative company. The fact that they are innovative would mean that they are looking for someone who is willing to take risks. However, the job of a systems verification engineer is inherently to mitigate risks so wouldn't they want someone who's risk-averse? Having trouble identifying their ideal traits and would really appreciate some input on this!

Dominance is not needed for good leadership, its one reason why people quit... because of the dominant leaders. As a leader someone should be more like a guide, and in times of crisis firm. Then when those that come along that need dominated to do their job you do so or fire them. Majority of humanity is not looking for dominant leadership. Especially the younger generation. These companies are going to get a rude awakening for those that have not.
