Decluttering is a continuous process and is part of one’s life style . I almost follow everything that you have mentioned in this video. I am 63 and decluttering has been integral part of my everyday life . Most important aspect is to reduce the purchase and the realization that there is no end to accumulating things unless it is an essential item. For eg. Why do we need more than 3 bedspread / bed room, why do we need more than 1 peeler or max 2 in a kitchen are the thoughts we should exercise to reduce purchases . Clutter happens when we buy more than what we need and don’t discard what we don’t need or use .

Agree with all the tips. We go on accumulating items out of guilt of not having used them enough, or out of neglecting or postponing the declutter. I feel the decision to part away with things is hard and hence we tend to postpone it.
But we will not use those items/ clothes either, since there is some problem or the other, or we have better choice available.
So it’s best to donate and get free space in our home and at the same time make it available to the needy and less privileged…
