I just realized each of the elite four (in order of rank) uses a type super effective against the next rank up members specialty: Fire, steel, fairy, dragon!

I got chills when Lacey was like, "He's good, but he can't be THAT good" during the cafeteria scene. I'd actually like more of that instead of us constantly being told that "We have something special! We'll definitely make it as a Champion!" Have characters doubt us initially and actively, actually be surprised when we become Champion. Being a champion is supposed to be big, right? Why not make it more of a mental challenge by having people recognize our skill but also say that they don't see us becoming champion? Also, it should go without saying. Either add difficulty levels or make the main battles harder. Personally, the only main battles I had trouble with the first time I played were the Titans and only 1 or 2 of either Team Star or Gyms. Make being Champion a goal we want to attain rather than one we should with the constant "You'll be champion no problem!"

7:23:00 competitively we could discuss which starter is the best, but in terms of singeplayer I dont think you understand just how strong aqua step moxie plus 3 other coverage attacks really is, Quack is leagues above the other 2 because its snowballing capabilities are almost unmatched across the entirety of pokemon, you are essentially getting free Dragon dances while killing mons

Minior I think is the only Pokemon we have to encounter to know if it's shiny since it's inner color is the difference. The shell is the same

If our character could of said something, I believe the fact he/she is from Paldea and not Unova, they could of said, remember in Paldea no one stops being a Champion, new champions emerge and become part of the club.

For Gen X, I hope our characters would be based off Red and Blue's offsprings, that's one thing we've never had different parents for each version. So Red's kids would be in one version and Blue's on the other. Also map direction should be opposite, example if Red's games starts clockwise, then Blue's game should head counter clockwise.
