The studies I’ve read suggest to sip the smoothies. Because we can drink faster than chewing. Just add chia seeds, it’s better than adding dairy and added sugar. Also the products you’re suggesting the body doesn’t recognize. Processed lab made food is bad for us. IMO just fruit and vegetables in a smoothie. Abd maybe coconut water. My favorite is mango, pineapple, ginger root (pinky tip worth) 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper. So so good

I’ve been doing low carb since January after finding out my A1C was 6.4. It’s down to 5.7 as of 2 weeks ago and my weight is down 20 pounds. I have Hashimotos so this has been a huge encouragement to finally loose some weight. My go to smoothie several mornings a week is Home made Almond milk ( almonds, sea salt and water) 2 large handfuls of greens, vital proteins chocolate collagen, frozen avacado, and a few frozen strawberries or blueberries. Recently I started adding oat flour which has 0 carbs {18 carbs plus 18 fiber) for added fiber. 💙Cheryl

I leave the coconut cream in the fridge so it's solid. It makes the smoothie thicker.

My go to is Unsweetened vanilla almond milk with Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter, strawberries and whole fat Greek plain yogurt. Second is blueberries, same yogurt, almond butter cinnamon and unsweetened almond milk. Sometimes I add allulose.

I use about 1/2 cup of frozen dino/lacinato kale (I buy fresh bunches of it and strip the leaves off the stems, and keep the leaves in a bag in the freezer), for the benefits of kale, and I add about 1/3 cup of frozen raspberries, and it really helps make the whole thing more palatable.

Smoothies/Milkshakes are helping to lower my blood sugar causing deserts. I've been using most of the ingredients you've mentioned. Sometimes I even have a salad smoothie that combines my desert and my salad (coconut milk, yogurt as a thickener, 2 tsp of monk fruit, and mixed leafy veggies, and celery). Prepared in the small container for the bullet blender keeps portioning size under control.

I am loving your content as a diagnosed pre diabetic from last doctor visit. I hope my next visit will show normal with no pre or diabetics diagnosis. I exercise regularly even though it’s not my favorite but need to change my diet which has a lot of carbohydrates. On the journey 😅

OMG Kait. I did it for many many many years and many times daily. Thought it's nutritious and very healthy, a huge mistake for being ignorant. Luckily I don't get to the point having diabetes, but prediabetic. The past year starting to research, following your videos, fasting and triple my exercise time as I retired lately and having plenty of time for hours walking daily an d hiking weekends. My test results came back last week with A1C, 5.4, mg/dl, 96. Am getting healthier and healthier . No more juice or smoothie, eat whole fruits dosing on cups. However I shake the silky tofu with avocado, hempseed, flaxseed added matcha powder, black pepper and turmeric for my arthritis . It works well. No sugar!!!

I put collagen in all my smoothies. They are basically a fruit, collagen, green powder, and a pre-/pro-/post-biotic. When there is space, I include the whole greens. So these are actually a means of imbibing the powders as I have never found a truly tasteless one. I still get spikes, even though I first eat salmon. Still rather new to trying to smooth my blood sugar. (A1c of 4.7 so not worrying about diabetes, just health and weight loss.
