With this PRO equipment variant, you begin your entry into the lightweight and high-quality Cube Kathmandu trekking bike series.
The particularly wide gear ratio of the Shimano derailleur gives you 30 selectable gear options for every riding situation. Cube has used the Shimano XT high-end series as the rear derailleur for the Kathmandu PRO. The fine gear shifting, the high-quality workmanship and the low weight are sure to impress. In combination with shift levers and a front derailleur from the Deore series, the Kathmandu PRO gives you excellent gear shifting performance.
All models in the Cube Kathmandu trekking bike series are made on the basis of a particularly light aluminum frame. The Cube System luggage rack, which is welded firmly to the frame, offers high loads and special rigidity. It also looks really great. The in-house lighting system with 50 lux headlights complements the everyday equipment of the Kathmandu trekking bike.
On dirt roads and poor cycle paths, the Cube Kathmandu PRO scores points with its easily adjustable SR Suntour air suspension fork. Thanks to the lockout function, you can easily set the 63 mm suspension travel. This means you don't lose any power to the suspension fork on fast rides or steep climbs and you get a more direct ride. Another advantage when the path gets a little worse or the speed is that the hydraulic Shimano disc brake system can be used well and precisely with little effort.
