Fun facts about Shirou
1. He is extremely talented in archery; he even perfected this skill without even trying... it is mentioned that he has to put an actual effort into actually missing the bull's eye.
2. Despite being a prodigy in archery, he didn't like it as he feels it's a boring skill as he doesn't need any effort or training to polish this skill
3. Instead, Shirou particularly loves difficult things or skills ... which he has no talent at it, such as swordsmanship, though this is partly due to Avalon resides within him, making his Origin a Sword.
4. Having no talent to be able to master swordsmanship to its peak, he chooses a shortcut to be able to compete with real masters: dual-wielding + thrown swords ... which emphasize being able to take offensive and defensive at the same time, in addition to his pragmatic tactic such as faking his lack of defense during a fight to be able to counter later.
5. HIs future self realized this weakness; hence he opted to utilize his excellent marksmanship, further refining it with the Planet's Contract. Boosting this skill even further.
6. His weapon creation magic, coupled with archery, make him a formidable fighter capable of fighting stronger opponents.
7. Having archery as his true talent and power, he becomes an Archer heroic figure in the future with swordsmanship as a complementary skill to fake his real capabilities.
8. Still, being an archer doesn't really suit all situations. Hence he came up with a trump card on his own for melee battle: Crane Wings; this skill allowed Shirou in HF to be able to take down Saber Alter single-handledly in melee combat. This skill stunlocked Saber Alter with no way out, eventually enable Shirou to delivers his final blow (albeit failed in the end due to Archer's borrowed power limitations)
