Ive discovered that a great way to get a lot of the dust off of the top of a baseboard is to just take a vacuum hose with an edger attachment to it and slowly go along the baseboard. Saved so much bending over.

Lakeland do fantastic long felt dusters on sticks supposedly for cleaning under washing machines etc but they are so useful to wipe baseboards, and quick.
