I've used a skateboard to help traverse the baseboards during cleaning. Sitting on it helps preserve my knees and back. Idk if this would work on carpet though.

This was so helpful
I live in an apartment and one day I actually noticed that my bathroom baseboards looked yellow so I sprayed them with a degreaser let it set, took my mop soaked with a drop if Dawn dish soap and hot water, sat on the toilet seat and ran my mop along the baseboards and realized they were actually a beige vinyl and hand wiped the baseboard behind the toilet. I bet those baseboards were never cleaned! Thank you for your tips I love watching you

FYI I am a house cleaner and the absolutely best way and easy way to clean baseboards is using a steamer. If you do it right it makes them look brand new. I love it.

To save your back and knees. Use one of those chomp handles with the mop pad, use some Zep foaming wall cleaner. That works very well. The best way is to use a brush, but that is a bit slow. Maybe if it's a small house.

I'm a big fan of using the small brush attachment of my vacuum to clean baseboards as well as cobwebs and the tops of curtains/blinds when I vacuum the rest of the room. Just extend the wand and off you go. However, I like your cleaning method, too.

Perfect timing. I’ve been doing some spring cleaning, realizing how neglected my baseboards are. That’s a lie, I’ve noticed since Christmas 🤣. I’m going to do the hard way the easy way and pay someone else to do it 😂. My knees won’t cooperate to even attempt this task myself. Investing a a swiffer duster for the maintenance going forward. Great video as usual!

I like to pick up the paint brushes at dollar tree to use as a first step to get the dust off similar to what you do. Thanks for another great video!

I use a denture brush or a soft toothbrush (from the dollar store) to get in those corners or tight spots. Also works well on light switches.

Had vinyl plank flooring put in and they did gorgeous baseboards
