Well done, showing chaotic behaviour at least for greater amplitudes. I noticed the rod is deplaced a bit causing a coupling between the two double pendulums, as Simon too remarks. It is made very well with low friction, but it would be improved further if the rod was fixed more rigidly.

The rod transfers energy between the pendulums, forcing a synchronization - at some point..

Use of a material with uniform density is desirable to compare results of the two pendulums. Use of wood may be the cause of this difference.
