Thank you very much. Uniden didn't help. The manual says WHAT the functions are BUT NOT HOW to work and use the buttons for their appropriate functions and the web site listed in the manual to refer to for other help is also worthless. YOU young man, are the FIRST and ONLY person and place I found that gives out USEFUL help and information. You properly worked your magic dude and for that you deserve a big kudos. Thanks!!!! I got this to replace my Radio Shack handled I got back in 1994. My police is encrypted, but I can still listen to 46.100 and 46.120 fire department. I only have those two channels in bank 1 scanning, but 6 and 7 are on the top line, not blinking like "1" is.

How do you go from Bank 1 to Bank 2 automatically? Or do you have to turn the knob until you get to channel 51?

So when the radio is in search or scan mode. To stop this mode or leave this mode just tap the HOLD button. This allows you to scroll manually through the frequencies; (Is this correct or am I mistaken)?

When you're in HOLD mode, & you're manually changing the frequencies using the volume dial, is the radio still scanning or searching in the background or does it stop search or scan altogether the moment you press HOLD?

My other question is What is delay for? I think it appears on the screen as DLY.

What is DLY used for & what is it's optimum or default setting?
Can you also explain Close Call settings. What is it? How is it used?

How do I get rid of unwanted noise when scanning I’ve got my two channels on the bank one and then every 15 seconds it goes to bank three I haven’t set up bank three at all and it’s just like static but it’s not even a full stat it’s like squelch

I just found about this radio, i do prefer a separate squelch and volume nobs like all the RadioShack, Whistler, grecom, etc but seeing some videos on the bc75xlt and bc125, this scanner is the best between both scanners, it's worth trying out. Thanks for your informal video!
